Murphy's Laws

If everyone analyzed everything that happened in life the way Murphy did, the world would be a much be simple and sensible place. Everything is just to practical and straight forward with him. I wish I could be this way. Here are a few of his quotes to prove my point. Think about it...they are all really so true. We just never want to admit it.

1. If something can go wrong, it will.

2. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway.

3. Tell a man there are 300 billion stars in the universe and he'll believe you. Tell him a bench has wet paint on it and he'll have to touch to be sure.

4. Everything takes longer than you think.

5. If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

6. Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first.

7. Every solution breeds new problems.

8. All's well that ends.

9. Logic is a systematic method of coming to the wrong conclusion with confidence.

10. The nicer someone is, the farther away (s)he is from you.

11. The amount of love someone feels for you is inversely proportional to how much you love them.

12. The best things in the world are free --- and worth every penny of it.

13. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

14. Sex appeal is 50% what you've got and 50% what people think you've got.

15. One good turn gets most of the blankets.

16. Smile, it makes people wonder what you are thinking.

17. Never go to bed mad, stay up and fight.

18. Smile... tomorrow will be worse.

19. Things get worse under pressure.

20. Friendly fire ain't.
